What Do My Cytogenetic Test Results Mean?
This chart can help you know how your treatment is working. CML treatment results are based on the percentage of Philadelphia chromosomes detected during cytogenetic testing. If you don't have the percentage, enter the number of Philadelphia chromosomes detected in your test report (0 to 20) in the box and click Calculate. The corresponding percentage of Philadelphia chromosomes and treatment result will be highlighted in the chart below.

Record your test results in the Treatment Milestones Tracker
- In people newly diagnosed with CML, key milestones are achieving an MCyR 12 months after starting treatment and a CCyR 18 months after starting treatment
- Cytogenetic test results can help your doctor understand how you may respond to treatment over time
